Default 7D--What U see is what I got.

Taken with 7D at f 5.6, 1/3200, ISO 400 with 300 mm f 2.8 No image manipulation other than straight conversion to TIFF and then sRGB. In my opinion excellent image quality when compared with previous Canon XXD series cameras for being an 18 megabites cameras.

Thanx for posting. I was thinking the noise was pretty good for ISO 3200. Then noticed..it is Shutter speed at 1/3200!!! d'oh!

Looking at this photo, I see lot more noise than I would have thought..for ISO 400! Is it cause it is underexposed a bit?

Yes, shutter speed at 1/3200 and yes,a bit noisy but compare to the images of the 50D and there is a definite improvement...again, in my opinion. The image was properly exposed with the histogram to the right. No highlights blown either.

It's great. Could have been better though. I don't think this picture represents the capability of the 7D.

Could you explain this comment?
