Best Macro: 180 (I use a Sigma, though, not Canon)

Best Telephoto: 135 F/2

Best 'Normal': don't use one. I have a 50 1.8 that sits in the closet. Tried a 28/1.8 and sold it. Guess for me it is the 24-70L

If I had only one lens it would be: painful

Best Lens for the $$$: no opinion

Lens I dream about: 1200 (might be a nightmare, I don't really see a use for it in what I do)

Might as well be a pint glass : Any of the 500mm F/8 mirror lenses. Some folks might call it a "coke bottle" lens instead of a pint glass (guess it depends on where you live).

Might as well be a pint glass Wink : Sigma lenses - the dreaded EOS EEE error... With some future body purchase, your Sigma will no longer function.

If I had only one lens it would be: 28-300mm f3.5-5.6L IS

Best lens for the $$$: Canon 17-40 f/4L

Lens I dream about: I'd like to try out the TS-E lenses

Best Macro: EF 180 L f/3.5 USM (Despite being bloody expensive)

Best Telephoto: EF 135 f/2 L USM

Best 'Normal': EF 85 f/1.2 L

If I had only one lense it would be: EF 50 f/1.0 L

Best Lense for the $$$: EF 50 f/18 or EF 70-200 f/4 USM

Lense I dream about:* EF 300 f/2.8 L IS USM

Might as well be a pint glass: All in all, Canon makes excellent lenses.* Some better than others, but none are truly awful.
