Default Question about Zoom Browser & DPP

I'm in the middle of processing a large quantity of photos recorded as JPGs. Is there a way in Zoom or DPP to apply USM to multiple images automatically rather than one by one?

If not, is this something that photoshop can handle? I'm going cross-eyes looking through menus...

Thanks!

...in DPP, while in 'Browser mode' (main window) select all, click 'tool', go to RGB tab, adjust sharpness, brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, tone-curve to your likings, and it will be applied to all selected images

(do not forget to also visit the NR/Lens tab )

...€0.02...

Kindest regards!

Many thanks! Just what I was looking for!

Edit: Is USM the same as the sharpening tool in DPP? I had the impression that they were somewhat different..

USM (Unsharp mask) usually has multiple sliders for adjusting sharpness whereas DPP only has the single slider. They're both for sharpness, but USM is more powerful (and more difficult to use, IMO).

It seems a shame that Canon can't or won't produce a single tool that can do what Zoom and DPP both do. I keep finding myself switching back and forth between the two in order to do what I want... what a pain!

It seems that even a generically applied USM produces nicer results than the single slider for Sharpen in DPP. Its too bad Zoom can't handle processing multiple files at a time.
