Default Why Oh Why Someone Please Explain...
I went and downloaded the latest dpp and on installing it, wanted my original cd. I have them at home but not with me.

Why does Canon need to do this?

What are they trying to protect?
Someone from using dpp without having bought the camera?

Oh well, I will get to it tomorrow.

To update DPP you need at least DPP or Zoombrowser installed...

That's a good question and I never understood it, either. Who is going to use that dumb application without a Canon camera?
