...and can be downloaded, together with new versions of EOS Utility (2.4) ZoomBrowser (6.1), PictureStyleEditor (1.3), etc... for Windows and MAC, here

...note that these are newer/higher versions than currently ship with the 450D/Rebel XSi on EOS Solution Disk 17.0...

Do you or anybody know if we need Canon RAW Codec. DPP and ZB are working fine without it.

...you only need RAW codec when you run Vista and want to browse RAW thumbnails in Explorer/My Computer
