Default Need help with 5D

In the las few months my images don,t seem to be as crisp as they were. I have changed lenses and it does not seem to matter which I use the seem to be a bit out of focus. Here are some before and I will put some after with them. Can someone give me some suggestions what it might be?

The after look underexposed compared to the before. Maybe by 1/2-2/3 stops on some of them. Any EXIF data?

to continue...

Are you shooting JPG or RAW? If JPG, are you using Picture Styles and which one? If RAW, what is your post workflow? Where is sharpening being done and have the settings changed?

They were all shot jpg I use the neutral shooting style. All of these are stait from the camera. I must have lost the EXIF data when posted I do heve it on the originals. All are shot at 100-125 ISO and The f stops are between 8-16 most are 11 speeds are 1/125.

Just a thought from a newb who knows nothing........... If you manually focus, do you wear glasses and possibly need a new prescription or don't wear glasses and are beginning to need them?

...at F20, fuzziness due to diffraction might come into play, the other images look OK on *my* monitor, apart from the earlier mentioned slight underexposures...

...maybe your AF unit is a bit 'dusty' and needs cleaning ??

...perhaps a general Canon service overhaul and AF check to prevent you from worrying is due ?

...sorry for not being able to offer any better advise...

...just *my* €0.02 worth...

Kindest regards!

I think that's really the only choice here, aside from a very thorough cleaning of all elements between the subject and the sensor plane.

Thanks guys I give it a cleaning. If that doesn't do it off to the service center.

Thanks the cleaning seemed to have fixed it. There was a bit of film on the mirror that I didn't notice until I started cleaning it seems to be working good now.
Thank you.
