Too busy lately ....

I've my 70~200 ƒ2.8 L all boxed up and ready to go to service. It's soft with a noisy IS motor and a perishing weather seal.

It's done close to five years service putting up with the typical rough n tumble of a working life. I need to send away my 16~35mm too but I've bought a 24~105L first.

It's been a busy fortnight ~ having just got over the flue myself, I was rewarded with double shifts as more staff went down. My trusty 70~200L was pressed into service more than ever, I don't have a huge lens collection so when I send a camera to another venue I can be a bit short.

Also my 300 ƒ2.8 L was dragged into routine service instead of just covering sports ~ it was this practice that finally opened my eyes to the softness of the 70~200L.

Amazing how I was using this very soft lens and making all the excuses for it, it's a zoom, I shot before the IS settled, I shook, I used a toooo sloooow shutter ... and so on.
