1D Mark III?
Will there be a follow-on to the 1D Mark II, or does Canon plan to kill that line and merge the 1DS and speed-demon 1D series?
I heard somehwere this was coming. I just wonder when. __________________

Merging the two lines would be bad for those who need to replace cameras often- the target market of the high speed lines. Newspapers are not going to want to buy $8000 megapixel monsters every time they need a new body.
