I got a sima quick release bracket for my tripod. Attached it and put the quick release part on my camera and when i put the camera on the tripod the brass fitting that go's from the tripod screw to the bracket pulled out and the bracket fell off. I was lucky that i was still holding the camera or i would have had quite a loss on my hands. What a bad product. The brass bushing on the bottom of the bracket is just a press fit into what i thought was a metal bracket but just turned out to be cheap plastic. This is just a little knowlege for everyone, i just ordered a manfrotto bracket from B&H
