I like my Op/Tech camera strap. It is comfortable and makes the camera feel lighter.

I have two that I like. The first is OpTech Pro and the other is UpStrap www.upstrap.com. I like the latter for the nonslip pad used that works well when carried on the shoulder.

I've been using an Optech of late and do like it. The only thing I don't like is the nylon part of the strap before the cushiony part: it seems to get twisted around more easily or simply more often than some of my other straps.

I use a Lowepro Neoprene strap and wouldn't trade it for anything, very comfortable, doesn't slip and is very durable...

Default Tamrac Boomerang

Just about ANY after market strap is better than the one's supplied with cameras from most manufacturers.

I like the Boomerang by Tamrac

maybe because I don't carry a camera for more than an hour or so I don't feel the weight like some folk..
.. to me, the camera strap's biggest most important job is to help me to get a really snug, tight handhold on the camera... For this reason alone I use a 1/2 inch wide nylon web strap. The big 2 inch wide straps just don't wrap around my hands or forearms anywhere near as easily or as tight as the small 1/2 inch wide strap. I've actually concidered 3/8 inch braided nylon rope for much the same reason.

OP/Tech Pro strap. Takes the weight off. Use it binoculars too. Only thing I don't like is that the little rubber nub grippers wear away too quickly.

i like the OEM nikon strap along with the Smug Mug free strap.

except for the fact that the SM strap likes to keep the sweat inside!

My vote too. Only problem is that I need to remove it from the tripod mount to get the 1D3 in its Think Tank bag.

Makes sense to me. My cat isn't very useful anyhow.

I use Op/Tech straps on my SLRs.

Lowepro Voyager C. I can wear that all day with a 40D, battery grip, and 70-200/2.8 with the tripod ring on it.

I used to use the UpStrap mentioned above and I thought it was a good strap. I recently took a trip to Italy and prior to going I read all of the precautions about pickpockets etc. and the potential to have a camera strap cut and removed easily. The UpStrap was easily susceptibIe to be cut.

I decided to do some investigation and came up with the Pac-Safe strap that has steel cables embedded in the strap to foil a strap cutting thief. It also has the strap clips covered to make it difficult to unclip also. After using it I think it is also a good all around camera strap too.

Pacsafe Anti-Theft Bags & Travel Security Products

While you are at this site you might want to check some of their other security products too. I also purchased their Fanny pack and Back pack with the same steel cables in the straps and other security features too.
