Default Anyone use Pixmantec's RSE raw converter?

I like it and am waiting for their commercial version.

What do you like about it?
How do you compare it to Photoshop CS Raw, Capture One, or any of the others?

Isn't the CS RAW converter everything we need now? I grew so tired of C1, of having to deal with yet another photo app. The batch processing in CS works fine for me, and then it's one less tool I have to learn.

Workflow is better than CS2 or C1 - and very fast, and the shadow detail is marginally better than CS2, depending on how subtle your touch on the detail slider is. It was developed by a couple of x C1 folks. I was about to pay for the C1 lite version, when this was released and the basic version is free.

Yes, I am using it for my .orf files from my C-5050.

I found that my favourite viewer/editor, Xnview, opens Olympus raw files without a hitch.
It is free.

As for PS, my current intellectual limits has prohibited me to allevate myself to the PS league.
Even the Elements has driven me up the ceiling in the past.

Pixmantec's RSE is Win only for the moment.
Mac users have other better options I think.
