Default Nikon D300 remote cable

FlashZebra.com: Shutter Release Cable for Nikon — 10 Pin to Pocket Wizard (Item #0091)

has anyone used the above cable with the D300 camera?

I haven't used that brand before. I have a Nikon MC-30 for my D200/300. There use to be several listed on E-Bay all the time, but I checked and found one, 59.95, not much of a deal. Check some other sites like Nikonians.org

Yes it does, assume you also have the PW , this cable goes from the camera 10pin to the PW , and then you can use the other PW to trigger the camera and the strobes from remote location to capture that suprise look on the model you have in the studio...

I have used this cable with Pocket Wizards as a remote shutter release with my D200. So, it should work OK with the 10 pin connector on the D300.

FlashZebra.com: Shutter Release Cable for Nikon - 10 Pin to Pocket Wizard (Item #0091)
It works well and is a fraction of the price of the PW brand.

Good luck!
