Is there a way to view a photo in image browser at 100% so you can see the clarity of it? This is what I am looking to do, when I am going through all the photos in a folder in file browser to flag the ones I want to keep, I want to be able to chose the ones with good clarity.

I think I found a solution close to what I was asking. I was able to figure out how to make the file larger in the file browser by closing the metadata, folders dialogs, making the thumbnails small and making the viewing photo large. I am not sure if its at 100% or not as I can't see where it would say the size the viewing image is. If anyone knows that answer, I would really appreciate the info? I think this will work for now.

Michele,
If you are referring to the File Browser in Photoshop (CS), what you are looking at is a thumbnail of the actual image, not the image itself.* If you are using this method to check quality of the images, be sure to select "create high quality thumbnails" in the browser options.* The only way to get a 100% view is to open the image in PS, and unless you have a fairly low resolution image it will be too large to fit on your monitor. Mike. |

You could use IrfanView, a FREE program that is used by lots of folks,a nd is more than just a simple viewer. It is available from the link below.
If you install it, and got to Options - Properties, and choose the Misc2 tab, you can put in an External Editor in the box there (use browse button). Then scroll through the images in a folder or whatever. You can hit the F key to toggle between full screen, and full size (really big). When you see one you want, you can hit Shift-E and the External Program will start up. http://www.irfanview.com __________________
