Awesome job John!! Thanks for taking the time
It's nice to have it all in 1 spot like that. Best, Jay __________________

John your an outstanding photographer, and any lens you use you would make amzing photographs. I wish I had the photographic eye you and Jay both have. Has anyone got hold of the other photographers to see why their not posting ?

Don, that's a very nice compliment coming from you. Sometimes I wonder just what the hell I'm doing making these landscapes. The Ithaca trip was very inspiring, it reminded me of what made landscapes so much fun for me. I realize photography is not a competition, but knowing some VERY good photographers would be there urged me to try to get alternative shots, especially a falls that probably has 1000 frames a day.
Here are two more: ![]() ![]() These are both shots that I wouldn't consider "crowd pleaser's" but they represent more of what I enjoy to shoot for myself. |

Both of these are really cool! The toning of the tree is great and the vertical water works for me
The more I look at it the more i like it. What did you think of the Sigma 10-20mm shots?Jay |

I like them a lot. I'm seriously considering something in that FL range. I'm pretty sure you saw get closer and closer and closer to my shots as I got comfortable with the lens.
Then later, I found I needed to get a bit closer! I'll have something with that weird little rock stack from Buttermilk Falls. |
