This is right after John and I traded Lenses. He has the Sigma 10-20mm on his 30D, and I shot this with his 17-40L

Really nice lens btw, but I had a hard time trying to find a composition with only 17mm to at the wide end

It's so weird how I get lost for a while when I change lenses. I guess it happens to everybody to a degree.

Rebel XTI, Canon 17-40mm F4L @ 33mm, f/10 @ 1/15sec, ISO 100, Tri-pod

Here is 1 more where I went pretty heavy on the HDR. I think it looks cool though

I only had 3 exposures for this composition, but I really could have used 3 more. I needed a bit more shadow detail, but I was able to get it good enough for the web

This 1 is from the highest part of Buttermilk Falls we hiked. This composition just kind of jumped out at me

The best part of this image was the dynamic range was within the cameras ability so I used Lightroom and a few minutes sharpening in PS to process this.

Actually, you gave me an idea. If nobody objects, I'd like to put up a permanent collection of all these in the Gallery section of Photocamel. That way viewers can enjoy all the work as an exhibit, without all the dialog. But by all means, keep posting them here!!!!
