I live in Melbourne and i never get to see any topics related to Camels meetup in Melbourne .

Another Melbournite here - I'm from Lysterfield. My favourite subject is bike racing, although I'll give anything a try!

I'm still up for a get together, though it depends when now. How do you get close to the bike racers? That's a cool pic - I'd do some of that one day!

Gday Matt,

That was taken from the fence near turn 3 at Phillip Island (World Superbikes 2010). I was using a 70-200 near full reach (195mm).

There are a few places around the track where you can get shots like this from outside the fence: turn 1, turn 6 and turn 10 especially.

This one's at turn 1 (again, over the fence - I'd love to get inside the fence, but accreditation is beyond my reach at the moment!)...
