Does anyone have any input as to how to market yourself on facebook?

I designed a page for my business and then took advantage of their pay-per-click ads, which appear on the right hand side of your screen on fb. You can target your market by location, age, keywords, and so forth. I think I'm paying .$33 per click right now, averaging 5-10 per day. I have accumulated 45 new fans to my page and 2 scheduled photo shoots just in the past 10 days.
I'm a big fan! (no pun intended lol) |

I don't want to rule anything out before it has been proven a waste of time.

I've now accumulated over 100 fans to my page since starting this little ad campaign. Have you started your ad yet?
Another neat thing about the pay per clicks is that you can set your daily spending budget. Say you set it at $5 per day... at $.30 per click, facebook will show your ad all day long until it's been clicked 15 times ($.30 x 15= aproxx $5) and will stop showing your ad for the day since you've reached your daily budget allowance. It will then start you up again the next day until you've reached your max. My targeted advertising area is very small, only a 25 mile radius of my little town, but it is aimed at people of all ages. I've been very pleased with its results so far. When people click on your ad you have the choice of sending them to your actual web page, or to your facebook page. If you design a facebook page for your business, you can update your studio specials on there, advertise for this and that, and even show examples of your work so people know what you're all about and what you have to offer them. Let me know if you need any help with yours.. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. ![]() |
