Default mounted prints?

Are most people (especially portrait or wedding folks) offering mounted prints? (I'm thinking especially sizes 8x10 and up)

Seems to me the quality of the product is much higher, and we're then more able to differentiate ourselves from the GWC's.

The next question is is there an online lab/hosting that will do them? ExposureManager doesn't (yet), printroom does, but it's through their "Printroom Direct" and it doesn't seem like a customer could place the order and expect a mount. Miller's does, but may have the same issue as Printroom (and they seem pricey to join). I really like the convenience of online, semi-automatic ordering/shipping (I just have to retouch and upload) - yes, I know the face to face delivery generates sales, it's a trade off for my time, which has been scarce lately.

Dang me for wanting high quality but not having the volume to spend enough to get it.

Thanks in advance for the pointers.

I don't do weddings(yet) but do offer mounted prints through an online lab. I use Express Digital to host my pics and then there a several labs to choose from through Labtricity Network, and they are from all over the US. They list their charges and you just incorporate thier charges into your prices.

Hope this helps you out

You can order peel and stick mount board and mount them yourself. It's not that expensive, really. Besides, build the price of the mount board into the price of what you charge. Consider it a cost of goods to produce the 5x7, 8x10, or whatever size you make.

Savage Mount Board
Crescent Mount Board

Hope this helps.
