Default Customer Prints

Hi, I usually shoot on assignment and hand off electronic files but occasionally I will get the request for a print to used as wall art. 20x30 or something like that. Anyway, what I'm wondering is how do you typically deliver the print? Mounted? Unmounted? If mounted, on what substrate? I use WHCC and for my own personal prints I usually get them flush mounted on styrene. But what do clients usually prefer? Most of mine don't typically do this so it doesn't help to ask them what they prefer, even though I would ask. So I'm just wondering what is the most typical way to do it.

Thanks!

No opinions on this? Does anyone deliver prints?

I think that you should mount anything 16x20 and up, just a personal choice, 10x13 or 11x14 its a coin toss and anything 8x10 or smaller doesn't really matter too much to me hope this helps

I mount anything 8x10 or larger on mat board. Once you get up to 16x20, I use double layer mat.

WHCC single or double layer mat. I generally put an 8x10 sized image on a 11x14 pritn with a white border. That way I (or the customer) can use a standard mat and frame under glass, or you can omit the mat and glass altogether, which looks very nice - no glare - especially using a texture like Embassy.

Oh, duh... maybe i should read better next time.
I saw the word "mat" and didn't realize that's what you were mounting to.

Thanks!

I tried the foam, but it was too thick, so switched to the mat. It probably is a perception thing, but the mat seems "richer" or more expensive. I don't remember which was actually more expensive, though.
