I virtually eliminated no shows when I started collecting session fees in advance. Mailing confirmation of the session time and date (with a post card like the doctors offices use) increases the odds of them showing up and on time. I now include this as a business card size magnet for their fridge to lessen the chance of it being misplaced or forgotten.
