Please excuse me if this is in the wrong area.

Has anyone heard of or use viperdesigns.com. They are out of Indiana. I received a call from them about building my website. Mind you I already have one, just can't figure it out to update it. Viper does this for you at no extra charge. They also do proofing at no extra charge and no percentages when I make a sale. The only thing I wasn't turned on by was their hosting is $30/month. Seems like a lot but I'm willing to pay if they are going to do the dirty work for me for nothing!

Anyway, thought I would ask your for your opinions! I really appreciate it!

They cold called you? Out of the blue? There isn't any domain "viperdesigns.com" but there is a ".net," but its in Worcester.

If the page in the link is an example of their work then I would not be prepared to pay $30 per month.

I just took a look at some of the example sites this company offers.... to be honest I have seen a lot better for less money.

That site, and the references are web remnants from the 90s. The source shows they were created with MS FrontPage 3.0.

Well judging by their front page on that link above they say that Safari is one of the worst browsers out there purely based on usage. They should also know that web developers have many hacks in their code to work around bugs in Internet Explorer - who still dominate the market. Seems like a puff piece for Firefox without explaining why. Not an inspiring introduction if that's an example of their analysis skills.

Very common among rednecks and Nascar fans (often interchangeable). Besides, you don't know if the customer didn't ask for it.
