Can anyone tell me a good software or program to make a business card?

I use Microsoft Word to make a simple business card. In my version (Office 2000), you can create business cards by going to: Tools / Envelopes and Labels. If you're already using Word, it's worth a look...

I did mine in Photoshop CS2. Then I imported them into Mpix's software and uploaded them directly to Mpix for order placement. They came out nice and weren't that expensive.

1. Passed by an offset printer near me, and discussed what I wanted in a business card.
2. They explained their process and specifications.
3. I did the design using Photoshop too and took it back to them for the final layout (took 10 minutes).
4. Two days later, I passed by and picked up my cards.

An offset printer gives you flexibility in implementing non-standard design, shape, and size. That would be good in making your business card look different than others.

Best of luck,
Waleed

I use Adobe Illustrator. Most pro bizcards sites will have .eps or .ai templates with their crop marks. They also have the proper ICC profiles so you can softproof your colors and not be sorry later !

I make my business cards in photoshop or illustrator and use VistaPrint for ALL my business printing needs. I am also a graphic designer and use them to print products for clients. Their prices are UNBELIEVABLE for the quality and very quick. You can upload you own design or use a template on their site. (www.vistaprint.com)

Photoshop then send in to my photo lab. I use wallet photos as my business cards. It stands out from the normal 2 x 3 1/2 paper card stock.

Create the design in Cs3 using guidelines from printing companies ( vista Print, etc)
or now WHCC and then upload and order! Vista is good for cheap, stuff when they send out promotional codes ( or google for them) and they are decent quality. some people have issues with them. WHCC does them and im thinking of ordering them through them next
