Do y'all mind giving me some input on my slideshow for the website? I had it full of horizontally oriented portraits because I didn't want the white edges that show up when I post a vertical one. But I have some cute baby pics I wanted to post, so I did. Specifically, would you tell me what you think about it when those pop up? Also any other info would be appreciated. I've not really published this yet because it's not finished, and before long, I will redirect my domain name to land here. So I'm still in the editing stage.
Appreciate it! XO Sis Rain Lily Photography __________________

would it work better if they where all together - now you have pointed it out - I don't like it, and the first apperance has text also
would I have worried about it , if you have not mentioned, probably - can you add the background colour and make landscape as an idea, may look worse. you have so many landscape photos - is it a loss not to have in slideshow - and perhaps the slideshow is too long and just set upa gallery section to display all your different types of work with links to those sub categorise |

Good input, I'll have to work on setting that up. Doing this is new to me so it might take a few days
Also I will switch the one with the text out for a different one.If I reduce the # of images in the slideshow, what would be your suggested number? Thanks for taking the time! |

I like it! the couple of portrait oriented shots are noticeable but not distracting or detracting IMO. Some great work in there. I quite often browse pro's sites and prefer simple interfaces. II like that it comes up with slideshow as that's what I want to see first anyway. This one works for me.

not an answer - you have 34 images @ what 7secs per change = about 4 minutes of time maybe reduce to 2mins i' would wait for other advice i like the ability to go full screen by clicking on the image and then slideshow - perhaps that link could be added as <full screen> in full screen I think the portrait format does not matter also if someone wanted to engage you - then they would spend the time viewing the slideshow so others can just drop out and it doesnt matter the length changing my mind as I write and watch the site D)so no help |

I like it. I think you should maybe cut down the viewing time per image a little. I think most people like I did are going to pull up the viewing bar and click on what they want to see anyway.
Nice shots you have there. jj |

Sis, I don't know that I would have noticed the white if you hadn't mentioned it but since you did I definitely did notice it. It doesn't quite look right, does it? What about if you grab a yellow from the background of the page and use it to fill the extra space? Wouldn't take much time to open those images up, adjust the canvas size, and fill the space with another colour. If you wanted to get really fancy you could fill with the pattern from the background too.
