Ok - i'm converting - fine, all the Mac snobs win, Macs are better - but now since i've been working in Lightroom 3 on my PC (and PC CS4) - should i get lightroom for the Mac? or use Aperature? is there difference?
And what other software would you recommend since this is an initial purchase for a studio set up? __________________

I can't comment on other software for studio set-up but I continued to use Photoshop and LR on my Mac when I jumped over.

I didn't find anything compelling about Aperture that made me want to switch from LR when I was faced with the decision. I think they are comparable software.

When I made the jump I downloaded Aperture to give it a try. It is nice but I found that I liked LR better. It might be because I have been using LR from the start and I am more comfortable with it but I kept LR over Aperture.
Need Photoshop still, can not live without it. Others to consider are Photomatix Pro if you wish to do any HDR shots. Using the Mac took a bit of getting use to but now I a believer. __________________
