Until She Awakes

morning
smiles
some alarm
finding
someone
sleeping
in my arms
what a charm
only her grin
between
hair uncurled
and sheets
unfurled
both falling
around us
in swirls
thoughts
of moving
now delayed
because this
oh-so-special
moment
may never
be replayed
smiling
because
if this
be my fate
I’ll lay
here all
day until
she awakes
