Often i see questions about how to handle when a camera has to be compact / small but still has zoom abilities .

Let me make it clear that i can't and wont talk here about all models instead i point out where a type of camera could be used for and what to have and what not . (sounds vage now but i wll lit a candle on it soon)

I am not going to talk about film compact or bridge camera's but only digital camera's

there are too many models and i will only pick...

Hi , most people here know me or think they now me , HA!

photography has been my hobby since i was twelve years of age (am now 46) . but it was put on ice till 2007, when i first bought my first DSLR a Nikon D70.

I really liked the camera and i have shot enough pictures with it that were good but also some where there was a unwanted sharpness of the picture in question

i found out that i needed a Vibration Reduction system in my lens. ( nikon does not yet...

I notice that a lot of the people here are thinking that a newer camera with more Megapixels will automatically increase the quality of the image and not sheer the size of it.

I understand that economies must grow and money most roll but i ask these questions here :

When buying new gear ask your self truely and honestly:

1) do or did i use 100% of everything my current gear offers ?

if the answer is : No , then do not buy new gear , learn to...
