New here and not sure where to post. I love to shoot still life and cannot find a forum for still life subjects.. Anyways, since it is a black and white I posted it here...

Thank you for the in depth comments Mark, I appreciate that.....

I like to see if I can give statuettes life like qualities. It creeps some people out for some reason. On this shot, I added a catch light to try and make the eye look more real, when in reality they are caved inward... I have found that black and white tends to accentuate the textures too. This is a 4" yellow resin cast, and I tried to shoot it to look like stone...

The idea once I get them right is to make a triptych photo series of Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil ...

Amazing how one little object can occupy me in the studio..
