These are all thing that I have done to the image already.
Levels and Curves adjustment to ensure full range of tones and a contrasty image. Channel Mixer to convert to B&W. Resized for web and then sharpened using PK sharpener. |

I just tweaked the levels up a bit and added a slight tone with an action called photo toner.
