Aloe dichotoma

Hello folks,

I have never attempted BAW and have decided to take the plunge. Attached is a photo of the trunk of Aloe dichotoma, a desert plant from the Namaqualand and shot in the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden a few weeks ago. I would appreciate C and C.

I to like the texture. I played with it in ACR and liked it more with blacks increased to 10 and clarity set to 75.

I love the texture, but the background kind of blends with the plant. You may want to play with the contrasts a bit.

Contrast is definitely lacking, as has been mentioned .

almost an abstract. I would focus more on the plant itself in order to circumpass the gap looking out on the background. Try some more captures.
