Nice series. I like 3, 4 and 6. Crop away all of #1 except the T-bird.

I don't like the compositions of the first two images. The rest are good street scenes, that would go equally well in the "Street Photography" board. The last one however put Britney Spears in my mind for some reason...

Well I shot the first two out of the car's window so I didn't expect them to come out great. The other were walk around shots. Thanks Mr. Pickles.

I like number 4. The scene is well composed and I like the short depth of field. However, I think the subject should be sharper.

You're right. Looking at the bench, it seems a little sharper after the subject. It was a manual focus 180mm lens so focus is a little tricky. Thanks Ray.

My uncalibrated monitor shows the first 3 photos as having deep blacks and whites, it starts to taper off with the last 3 especially the last photograph.

Ok, that kinda makes sense I see the same now. It might be the harsh lighting that helped develop that. Thanks...

the vlast three I like the most. In the first three there isn't a strong enough focal point for me.

I know most of the shots are nice, but What about the actual B&W conversion?

#4,#5 have the best tonal variation to my taste.
#6 could have some deepter blacks.
