This road leads to the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico, also known as "Sky City", strategically built on top of a 367 foot sandstone mesa many hundreds of years ago for effective defense against enemy raiders It is purportedly America's oldest continually inhabited city in America. Even today, the natives who live there do so without electricity or modern plumbing.
