Hi Jimmy
I have been living along a lake for 21 years and have only seen this once, and was lucky enough to get a shot of it.
Very windy November day, cold at -15c, before the snows have arrived. Waves crashing against a breakwall, the spray blowing onto a distant grass area above the breakwall.
This shot of that grass area the very next morning.

That's an interesting but really weird shot

Great capture! I'm looking forward to the snow and ice this year ,but suddenly I feel a bit chilly..
