Default Anne in the Mall

This was taken under high ceiling lights - only - in a local mall.

Norm, I'm basically liking this, but think she needs a little catch light in her eyes to add some life.

I did try my LED but the batteries were a tad low. I have since replaced them with stronger ones. The sad point here is - the roof lights are so high the light level falls off very fast - and I wanted to stay away from flash for a more natural lighting.

I will give that idea a 'go' again with my stronger batteries very soon. They are the strongest AA's in the store. If it works well enough, I will be picking up re-charges after that.

An email is coming on the weekend as well.

Further to my last post, I have been working my way through my new art book. The authour has suggested that people make sure the eyes of a person/animal are as accurate a colour/tone as they can be in an image - if they show. (Sadly, I confess, I have not been doing that).

This image I tried to do that to see how it works with the rest of the tones in the image.
