Default Elephant Island

Finally got around to processing this 2 year old capture of Elephant Island which is best know as the refuge of British explorer Ernest Shackleton and his crew in 1916.

I remember this shot. Had to go back to April, 2017 to find your twin glaciers post.
I still like it but didn't notice any difference.

You are right, Greg. I always liked the shot and saw this version of the shot and processed it once again. I forgot that i had done it before. Since the one from April is a crop as is this one, it interesting to see that crop is essentially the same and the only real difference is the toning.

Very nice B&W image, and I'm happy that you got to do your work on it. Keep on doing what you are doing when you can. Results speak volumes.

But I didn't see an elephant

Thanks for the kind words, Craig. On good days I can almost see what I'm doing and really enjoy spending some time with my friends on the Camel. Incidentally, you only can see the vague notion of an elephant form from above.

Thanks for the comment, Rob. It has been some time since we were able to get to together.
