Default Explorer of the Seas, Interior

Cruise ship architects would seem to owe a great debt to M. C. Escher, the Dutch graphic artist. This image is one from my last month’s cruise to Sydney from Seattle aboard the Explorer of the Seas.

Very well done Kelly. That's a long time to be on a ship. Did you post this in colour?

There were a few stops along the way Don and time on the ship goes fast. I haven't posted the color version yet, Don. If I do, it will be on the HDR board.

The image has some interesting features, to be sure; but is not truly Escher-esque to my eye. I like the toned monochrome rendition that gives the image a period feel, and am not clear how a color rendition would be an improvement. Of course, if you supply a color version, I will look at it.
