Default People of the street

Similar to a thread I started in the Olympus forum - thought I would post a series of images I have been taking in one thread.

They are loosely around my efforts at street /people photography with a variety of Olympus lenses. I have no idea what I am doing when trying to get these images but am looking for a story or interaction that happens or maybe something unusual.

anyway we will see how we go

Any comments or pointers feel free to add

Rob

You did a great job on this image, Rob, it is well composed and well processed. The subject's pocketbook could use a bit more separation from her so that it does not spoil her pensive pose.

A lot of B&W people "know something" more than I do. I look at my B&W tries and 1 in 10 looks pretty good. The rest look dull and boring.

Fascinating image, I sort of get the feeling she's being watched over by some super Dalek from the Doctor Who series.

Thanks all comments are always welcome

The thing that got me she was just sat what looks like on edge where 10 minutes later I took a series of shots with a man on the phone but he was very animated.

Maybe I should do a "phone people" series as I have more images of people on mobiles that anything else

Not to worry! Of others' images, you see mainly the good stuff. Of your own, you also see the photographic misses as well. You don't know how many misses were culled from the others' good stuff that you do see.
