Hi all,
I've just found this forum after a poster on another forum suggested it to me, therefore I'm a new user so thought I'd introduce myself - I shoot mostly boudoir and glamour in monochrome MF film, currently using digital prosumers as only as polaroids, but converting fully to digital within the next 6-9 months. I have just bought a D200 as a DSLR starter. Anyway, here's a couple of candids I shot recently while setting up between shots. I don't know if there are many other forum members who shoot this kind of work, but would be good to find out. Regards.. Tony ![]() ![]() ![]() __________________

Thanks JD - one question, I'm not sure if the images are up correctly. Do I place the the image url between the inner bkts of each one?
Your help appreciated. Tony Quote:

I usually convert to CMYK after converting a colour image to mono via greyscale. Then I use curves. These wer shot only on an old KM7i I used as a polaroid.

Thanks for the welcome Padre,
I'm just trying to find my way round. Not sure whether I should be on this forum, but I sort of have an affinity with here because of monochrome! The MF forum seems more concerned with discussing equpment - (I got past that a long time ago LOL). I shoot mostly private glamour/boudoir/portraiture in monochrome but never post any of my paid work as it would contravene client confidentiality, so I seem to be left with here! LOL Anyway, if you guys will put up with me, I'll try and pull out a few monos to post for you to pull to pieces!LOL Regards... Tony Quote:

. The MF forum is pretty quiet, though the Camel is more skewed towards the image taking side of photography as opposed to gear talk. Feel free to talk gear in the relavent sections if you wish though . |

Hi Paul,
thanks for your kind welcome to the forum (looks like I picked a good'un LOL). I promise I won't talk equipment unless I can offer any advice that is required - I am of the opinion that a camera is what it is, a camera. All it needs is someone to make best use of it. Although I don't breach clent confidentiality, I can still post some of the less personal monochrome stuff and some new stuff when I get the D200 going. Regards... Tony Quote:
