Default August Challenge - B&W Tree Root textures
Let's all start digging.. the challenge for August is roots... more specifically tree roots.

I think roots are a prefect subject for B&W allowing us to really experience the texture without the distraction of colours.

So, let's all start looking down... you never know what wonder you may find..

Nice ones Kellycat and BambersImages. Here's my take.
Our area was hit by massive floods last autumn, tree roots and debris everywhere. Most now overgrown and inaccessible but one tree with debris still ok. The river which caused all the damage can just about be picked out in the distance - it now looks so small and insignificant....
