Nice concept, nice composition. When impact is more important than accurately in portraying the subject, sometimes flipping the image makes lines lead into the picture rather than out. The sky looks as though it was burned in around the tree. Burning in was necessary in some of your photographs, but shouldn't be conspicuous.

Well spotted place - you used all elements to compose a very dramatic photo. I like the lighting although I think that the crown of the tree should be darker (is it a cloud behind it that adds this ghostly shine?) Well done
