Luckily you've posted the color version. Take that one, convert to gray by channelmixer, red->0,green,blue-> each 50%.
duplicate layer on top layer apply a sabbatier effect (i.e u-shaped curve, 128>60), set blendmode to overlay and 30% opacity. merge layers, duplicate layer, go back to previous layer, apply LCE, go to top layer and mask out the boundaries so that the sharpened boundaries appear. |
