I got this one, and I have processed as an HDR. I did a quick black n white conversion in Photoshop. I think it works fine.
Waiting for your C&C. ![]() __________________

I agree - interesting textures. I noticed a strange thing - when looking at the photo I have an impression that the area around the padlock is blurred but when I turn my eyes in there - everything is sharp

I might know what you mean MiPr.. But I think it is nothing to worry about neither there is something strange with the photo.
Our brain, when things are in some relative distances on our peripheral vision, because there is actually no direct focus on these, it "fills" the image with its own perception, in an evaluative way, by taking account its surroundings.. Possibly because our brain perceived the surroundins of the padlock as blurred (cannot "see" the texture at that moment), the padlock appears blurred as well.. There was an interesting way to see that in work.. You can draw in a piece of paper a brick wall, just lines intersecting, on the most part of the paper. then you take some corrective fluid and cover a line from top to bottom on the wall. Let's say you use the fluid on the right side of the wall. If you focus on the left side and you move the piece of paper closer and further to you, you will reach a point, where the white line on the wall, will disappear on your peripheral vision, and the wall will look intact at that part. As soon as you focus on that, the line is back This happens because our brains "see" with their own evaluative way, and feel the gaps whey they see fit. |
