Default Bayou Teche NWR
Hello my friends! We spent the day out at the Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge. We didn’t see a single bear but a few birds, an otter, some raccoon, and an alligator. Here are a few of my favorite from today. Oh, the Winter Wren is a new bird for me. Yea!!!

Thanks Bill, you should do that, it is kinda fun trying to best the shots of each bird you have. I actually have two lists, actual birds I have seen (life list 291), actual birds I have photographed (211), and a working folder containing a picture of each bird captured. Each time I capture a bird I put it up against my favorite copy so far to see if it is any better and replace it if warranted. It’s always fun getting to add a new bird...so, get out there and put that new glass (maybe it will come tomorrow) to use
