Default Rob and Amy, bird photographers

Here is a shot of us, I used the 20D with the 24-70 set to timer. I needed a shot of both of us for a bird magazine article that will feature us. I put Amy in front of me seeing she is the better looking one.

Very well done, I like that Amy has her left hand on the lens near the balance point showing off good long lens technique.

I like the real tree camo on Robs telephoto lens. Amy caught my attention first though.

I like both of you and your images, but if you moved Amy 2 feet to the camera's right, it would be an even better looking image

Congrats of the article. You deserve it.

Nice photo; it's really cool to see some of the faces behind the photos. I have really enjoyed the images you post... will you be posting a link to the article? I'd love to read it!

You are so much younger than I perceived from the outstanding quality of the bird pictures you create. Talent over experience.

A nice photo.

What Lens is Amy using and what lens are you using?

And do either of you use any TC with the lens?

Thanks for the comment. I am using Canon's 600mm f4 IS lens and Amy has the 300mm f2.8 IS lens.

As far as TC's you can see them in the picture. I have a 1.4x on mine and she has a 2x on hers. The TC's work great on these lenses. I have used the 2x on the 600 also but I do prefer the 1.4x on it. The 300mm takes both very nicely.
