Default Metallic Starling

Shot at Miami Metrozoo.

A rather striking bird in the sunlight.

I think it's the ongoing issue with displaying images hosted on pbase. It's showing now (but may not be when you're reading this ).

Great expression captured, and nice watercoloury backdrop. I like how you've framed this too.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Unfortunately, PBase has been having some problems with one of its key servers. That results in pictures not linking properly from time to time. Sorry, not much I can do about it until I move and start my own server/site.

As far as the background, sometimes a breezy day and slow shutter speed pay off.

I like this a lot Jeff, the colour of the bg really complements the colour of the bird
