Default A few Gulls and blackbird

Shot these Ring-billed Gulls and a Brewer's Blackbird with my 70-200 VR and Kenko 1.4.
As stated before, birds are tough to shoot. Next time I'll try my 200-500 Tamron.
CC welcome.

Doug

You did very well on these. I also have the Tamron 200-500 and really like it although I find to get the sharpest shots at 500mm I have to shoot AV with about f7-8.

Thanks. I have not had much time to work with the 200-500, but plan on giving it a workout now that softball is over. I am looking for a stronger tripod or a bead bag.

Now that was a very nice series. Got to hand out some Way-ta- goes and a whole bunch of "Atta-boys". Keep up the good work and keep em coming.

Thanks for posting!

Cool inflight shots, but my favorite is the blackbird on the barbed wire fence--very nice!
