Hi to all

Here's a few more shots I missed in my previous post for last Thursday birding trip.
My camera shutter noise is a little loud when set for maxium fps. At first I was disappointed thinking it would scare birds away. Infact it often works in my favor, many times birds look towards me and some come towards me checking out the camera noise.

Anywhy here's an example in my first photo of the little Black-crowned Sparrow-lark; he almost jumped out his skin with my first shot, but he didnt fly away and let me take more shots of him.

My second shot is of a Hoopoe Lark a returning bird that spends the summer here

The third bird is a late migrating bird, a male Lesser Kestrel, in the first shot where he's ruffling his feathers he was masked by a plant in front of him spoiling the shot a little. C'est la vie

Excellent series again John. I get the odd chance to photograph lots of birds but you seem to have the opportunity everyday, you lucky sod ;>)

Hi Gautam, thanks, I was quite pleased with the last shot but due to the angle I was shooting from couldnt get the eye detail I was hoping for.

LOL Hi Kevin, yes I finish in my office at 2pm and I'm just a 20 minute drive to my favorite farm, but its getter too hot now and very few birds are around.

#1 is a cool shot. I do agree with Kev you are most prolific!

Great set I must admit upon scrolling I had to scroll back up to #1 I thought I was seeing things
but the bird is off the ground as if he bounced up hehe great capture.

Thanks Gil, I do try but it will get a lot harder here in the summer, But I will get to bird in the Czech Republic & South West France by the end of July and early August. Plus I will bird once again for a few days in October in the Oman. Next we plan a trip in February 2013 to Nepal , Im just a little worried about the handling the high altitude. Not quite up to Kevin's fantastic world trip, but I'm really looking forward to the trips.

Thanks Josh, yes the poor little guy jumped when hearing my shutter noise. I think that I was lucky to get the shot
