Thank you for the comments. Out ice is slowly starting to go and I see some of the swans paired up near the tundra ponds hoping it would go faster as they are ready for the nesting thing or maybe they are like us anxious to see the winter end.

That is a dormant volcano (Mount Peulik) behind the swan but a few days ago I reported a steam/ash cloud from Mount Marten which is just off frame to the left of Mount Peulik. Amazing on a clear day we could see that vent cloud that was 75 miles away.
