Default Birds @ Como Lake

Not too busy today at Como lake. The weather was overcast, and the osprey that I've been hunting for a while has disappeared. So heres a bunch of common birds.

The great contortionist

Pigeon

Goose Chick

Teen Mallard

Thanks for looking.

Shoot what is available, sometimes the regulars get overlooked.
I do not even have a pigeon shot yet.

Good collection well done, recently I was counting the number of species that I have ticked & photographed here in Arabia, I then realized that I had totally ignorned most of our local residents. So I say get what you can when you can and you have already made a start.

The Goose Chick is may favorite.

Thanks for sharing

The Pigeon shot is my fav. I agree go for the good shot. (even of common) Some times your best shot is when you have given up.

Thanks for all your comments. I can't believe how tame this guys are. They we're literally 1m away from me. This is the first time I'm birding that I found my 70-300mm too big.
