-jnsuffolk, I normally do other type PS editing but decided to try and do some "digital painting" type efforts. So to answer your question is that I just tried a few things through trial and error..not perfect by any stretch but good enough now for my winter evenings. Get a posed image and create a layer for each article of clothing and paint in a solid color roughly. Then create a "linear burn" layer for each and make sure to select the "Use previous layer to create clipping layer" and "Fill with Linear Burn Neutral White" ( make sure you are on each article of clothing's layer when creating each linear burn layer creation.) Now just select the clipping mask and use a soft black brush at around 10% opacity and paint in your fold/crease areas...then come back over that with a white brush and bring out the fold/creases gradually. Hard to explain via a note but it is really rather simple once you understand. Good luck. |
