Thank you Mr P for providing me with an enjoyable and educational way of spending my evening. I've not been able to do much photography for awhile now and have rarely made it to Photocamel to admire the work of others. Finding this gem upon returning this afternoon was truly a blessing.

I'm going to put off viewing Marriages and Peace Treaties until later as I'm in between "procedures" at the moment so I now have something to look forward to during my next stint of bed rest.

Having just found this thread (08-19-09) and being someone who enjoys history and historic places I have to say great idea and thanks for sharing. After visiting Switzerland and Italy last year I would like to be able to take several months and travel at a leisurely pace across Europe visiting such historic sites.
